  Special Assembly

  "Every act of kindness you show can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others" OLIVIANS of Grades 8 & 9 organized their Special Assembly on 26.6.23, based on the theme "Power of Kindness".They started the day with a positive note by issuing leaflets to parents which contain quotes of kindness. Students showcased their talents thro motivational speeches, songs, dance,skit etc..Events like these bring out the organisational skills of the young minds , enabling them to focus on a particular theme that create a powerful impact in the mind of the learners.   Animal Day

  The GRADE-1 celebrated ‘Animal Day’. In order to gain knowledge about the different animal species and to raise awareness on the importance of caring for animals, the Grade 1 students dressed themselves in different animal costumes such as lion, tiger, elephant, monkey, etc. The learners were instructed to bring along a show and tell article based on the animals they represented. The learners were enthusiastic and participated confidently in the classroom discussion. They spoke about the animal they were dressed up, made animal sounds and even acted like the animal. They also sang songs and rhymes related to animals. The whole of Grade 1 looked vibrant and wonderful. Some of the costumes were even beautifully handcrafted by parents which was commendable.Click here to view photos.

  WORLD RECORDS

  Thirukural is one of the most revered ancient works in Tamil literature. It is considered a common creed, providing a guide for human morals and betterment in life. M.S.Janani from Grade 1 recited 47 Thirukurals in just 03 minutes and 03 seconds and etched her name in the “BOOK OF WORLD RECORDS” The massive world record event titled “THIRUKURAL 10 MINUTE CHALLENGE” was organised to create an awareness about Tamil amongst the younger generation.
